Happy to see that Knitpro now has swivel cables, this was the main reason why I stopped knitting with these interchangeable needles. The original cables always unscrew and twist while knitting and this is very annoying. I gave only 4 stars because the cable is a quite stiff but I have to admit that the swivel is marvelous. No more cable twisting or unscrewing and no more needle tightening. I would have prefer a less stiff cable though similar to HiyaHiya.

Of the KnitPro range, these are my favourite cables by a mile; I simply don’t use the old ones anymore (only as “retire knitting into a cupboard“ stitch holders; they annoy me too much when trying to knit on them. I was thinking that a needle rises and falls with the cable … the best needle in the world is useless on a rubbish cable. Addi. Lykke - it’s like wrestling with a stroppy anaconda! The Mindful swivel cable elevates Knitpro needles & makes the needles usable again.

I have been using knitpro interchangeables for years (decades?!) and have just discovered the swivel cable. It makes a huge difference to my wrists - I was starting to get some discomfort after knitting and the new cable has really helped. Usual knit pro quality, really lovely. I like the mindfulness design for novelty.
I don't think I'd bother with alternative products. I love the swivel fitting on geese, which takes strain off your hands and the soft plastic works so well. My third purchase of these cables, gradually building up my collection.
Love these much easier to knit with as they keep the stitches in line. The only shame on buying multiples are the extra stoppers - now have going on for 20 of them... Great product though :-)
Love these Swivel cables, they make knitting in the round sooo much easier... Wish they'd been in my sets as they've made my normal cables redundant :-)

Strong and flexible, these cables are made of the finest grade material. Offered with teal coloured end caps with a floral print, they are a delight to use. The matching teal cable key is used for tightening the tips onto the cables to stop them coming undone during knitting.
Available with a fixed or swivel cord. The fixed cord is non-rotating, the swivel cord rotates to avoid twisting.
These cables are designed to be used with Mindful Interchangeable Knitting Needles, but are compatible with all KnitPro interchangeable items.

** If using the 40cm cable it is recommended to use the short KnitPro needle tips. Using standard length tips will make the length from tip-to-tip approximately 46cm, but will also limit the angle you can get between the tips and may make knitting very awkward.
