Well, I’m doing this crazy pullover atm (Abydos sweater on Ravelry), where you knit a few rounds of sport weight yarn on 4mm needles- and then change to super fine silk mohair (1200 m rather than 800 m per 100 g, as usual) on … 8 mm needles for a few rounds. You’ll soon discover that all 8mm needles are pretty much blunt; Chiaogoo, Addi Novel Lace, Hiyahiya Sharp - all not up to the job on 8 mm. I didn’t want to get the Mindful because the large needle sizes don’t seem long enough to hold comfortably (they’re more like a zeppelin, tapered at both ends with little in the middle to actually hold) - but the pointy tip won out in the end - as all other needles were ridiculous. So, here you have both: the pros and cons; but overall 5 stars cause they’re so beautifully pointy - even on the larger diameters.
I much prefer interchangeables for the flexibility they provide. These are well made with great connections. Jormally I prefer wooden needles but these are grippy rather than slick and work well.

Special Short Length - 10cm (4") long, good for smaller projects. Makes 40cm / 50cm circulars.
