    Malabrigo silky merino yarn

Beautiful to work with, knits up superbly. There were a couple of thin sections in the skein but that's expected with this sort of product. Also when I realised I would need more for a particular project, Woolstack were able to provide exactly the same dyelot. Fabuous!

Description

This delightfully drapey favourite combines 50% silk and 50% merino into a single-ply DK yarn that is an absolute treat to knit and a joy to wear. The combination is soft, smooth, and itch-free even on the most sensitive skin- absolutely wonderful for garments, scarves, and other next-to-your-skin items. The silk content gives the yarn a bit more weight and drape than a pure merino, and a slight sheen that is absolutely gorgeous. The fibres take dye a little differently, adding extra depth to the wide selection of semi-solid, variegated, and watercolour-multi colourways available.

Great for: Accessories, shawls, garments, cables, colourwork, textured stitches, lace.

Yarn Weight:  DK
Blend:  51% Silk 49% Merino

Note: Malabrigo comes in small dye lots so please be sure to buy enough yarn for your project. As with any hand dyed yarn, there can be significant shade differences between skeins, even within a dye lot, so we recommend that you alternate skeins every few rows to prevent striping.
