Rio means “river” in Spanish. Malabrigo Rios is named after the four major rivers in Uruguay: Rio Cuareim, Rio Uruguay, Rio de la Plata and Rio Negro. Each river is represented by one ply and these plies twist together like winding rivers. Rios also signifies the yarns washability. If we have fewer skeins than your project needs, or you’re after a specific colour which we don’t currently stock, please get in touch and we will do our best to get it in for you.
