    Malabrigo lace weight yarn

She is beautiful! Lovely to work with, good stitch definition, produces drapy fabric that doesn't stretch or pill (so far): I've used this yarn previously and have worn the shawl countless times, looks like new still. Hurrah for Woolstack, for stocking the whole range!

    Beautiful to work with

Very nice yarn to work with, although it is very difficult to wind up in preparation - but that is a lace weight yarn thing. Beautiful colours.

Description

This yarn is spun from the finest merino wool, bred for generations by ranchers in Northern Uruguay. The softness and squish of this yarn is simply unparalleled. A delicate lace-weight single, it blocks like a dream and creates a fabric that is the very definition of comfort.

Great for: lace, shawls, scarves, lightweight garments. Works well double-stranded for accessories, garments and colorwork.

Yarn Weight:  Lace
Blend:  100% Merino Wool
Ball Weight:  50g

Note: Malabrigo comes in small dye lots so please be sure to buy enough yarn for your project. As with any hand dyed yarn, there can be significant shade differences between skeins, even within a dye lot, so we recommend that you alternate skeins every few rows to prevent striping.
