    Lovely yarn, great service

Lovely soft yarn and the colour was accurately represented on the website.

Excellent service from this company; I ordered the yarn between Christmas and New Year and it arrived less than two days later. The vacuum packing is very clever and my husband did not realise I had bought more yarn, as it arrived flat packed and looked like a book.

Description

This yarn is spun from the finest merino wool, bred for generations by ranchers in Northern Uruguay. The softness and squish of this yarn is simply unparalleled. A delicate lace-weight single, it blocks like a dream and creates a fabric that is the very definition of comfort.

Great for: lace, shawls, scarves, lightweight garments. Works well double-stranded for accessories, garments and colorwork.

Yarn Weight:  Lace
Blend:  100% Merino Wool
Ball Weight:  50g
Length:  430m (470 yards)
Needle Size:  2mm (US 0, UK 14) - 2.75mm (US 2, UK 12)

Note: Malabrigo comes in small dye lots so please be sure to buy enough yarn for your project. As with any hand dyed yarn, there can be significant shade differences between skeins, even within a dye lot, so we recommend that you alternate skeins every few rows to prevent striping.
