This was ordered as an extra along with another pair of needles. I absolutely love Knitpro interchangeables and the cables. I like to keep a few of each size cable and now that each length has its own colour it makes life so much easier, definitely the best available in my view.

I have found these very useful. Facility to change length as you decrease has proved helpful until the very top of the crown and then I had to use 4 cable needles.
Good kit but could be better designed.

Added the shortest cable together with a set of short needle tips to my collection, they work very well together for smaller projects, no stretching your stitches whilst you knit. Great product, happy with purchase.

** If using the 40cm cable it is recommended to use the short KnitPro needle tips. Using standard length tips will make the length from tip-to-tip approximately 46cm, but will also limit the angle you can get between the tips and may make knitting very awkward.
