Have recently taken up sock knitting and struggled with DPNs. These needles don't fall out and by knitting in the round, there's no laddering either. They're also quite sharp and can go through the yarn. They are, however, perfect for sock knitting and anything else that requires sock/4-ply/fingering yarn.
