West Yorkshire Spinners have created a fabulous collection of patterns in collaboration with iconic British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes. These patterns feature the colourful collection of yarns also created by Zandra in WYS's favourite ranges ColourLabDk and Signature 4ply.
Dame Zandra Rhodes is an internationally acclaimed designer and style icon, with a career spanning over half a century. A multi award-winning fashion and textile designer, she has dressed famous figures including Princess Diana, Freddie Mercury and Elizabeth Taylor, as well as exhibiting her own iconic, head-turning style.
In approaching this collection, Zandra wanted every piece to make a statement. Inspired by her classic knitwear designs from the 1980s, she reimagined them with new twists and fresh looks, as well as creating some striking accessories and fabulous socks.
The designs use Zandra's ColourLabDk and Signature 4ply prints, accented with some of the vibrant, classic solid shades.
