Lovely soft yarn and great to knit with. I really like Opal sock wool as I have used it many times before. No knots . I shall definitely be using it again .

Excellent sock yarn. Bought to repair cuffs on handmade socks. The original socks were made from opal yarn and have lasted a great many years. This yarn is really nice to knit with and is my go to sock yarn. It is well worth. the money and I can highly recommend it.

First order with company and first time I’ve used Opal yarn for socks after recent difficulties getting hold of my usual Regia yarn. Nice to work with though need good light to knit this particular shade and perhaps light coloured needles. Knitting up well. Haven’t given 5 stars as haven’t finished the pair so haven’t checked how they wash.
As always opal is a very good sock yarn. This one has slightly less wool content than the others so is a bit more hard wearing. Great charcoal colour. Excellent service from Woolstack!
Lovely yarn with a firm twist. Perfect dark charcoal colour, like a soft black almost.
This yarn works up well, it is a bit easier to use than black. Feels good on the hand.
