Yep, I still love these

So, my favourite sock pattern calls for 2.5mm needles, but to adjust for my loose tension and small feet I need to go down to 2mm. I broke a cheap bamboo DPN that size in half one-handed while picking up stitches for the gusset. I thought I'd treat myself to a really good replacement, so got a set of these Karbonz DPNs. I'm glad I did. Although I can sometimes feel the join between the metal and carbon fibre sections when knitting, these are lovely to work with, warm, light, reliable. I've so far not had any trouble with either dropping stitches (which I do with alarming regularity on socks, and nothing else!) or having a hard time shifting them towards the point, so I'm happy. I wouldn't call these flexible, but they do seem a little kinder on the hands than metal, so they must have a little give. I may have to rethink my plan to replace my surviving cheapies with KnitPro wood ones, because I'm REALLY enjoying my new Karbonz. :-)

This is the perfect needle combination. The carbon body makes the stitches stay on the needle yet slide easily. The metal tips makes knitting faster. Another great feature is how light they are. Great for sock knitting. I will definitely try the fixed circulars in the future!
I Have been looking for these for some time. but they were only available from the US, so I had to wait - It was worth the wait. They are devine to use, and not expensive. I wish they made them in every size.
The Karbonz DPNs are the best yet, so light and really comfortable to use.
