I had used a 'cheaper' version of this size Knitting Mill, but after only a few uses, it had begun to run less smoothly. Woolstack had the Addi-Express Pro Kingsize in stock at a very competitive price, so I bit the bullet and ordered one. The website ordering process and information were simple and straightforward, and the Addi arrived within a couple of days. Whilst the Addi might cost considerably more than some cheaper versions, the build quality is also considerably better than the cheaper versions. I've used the Addi quite intensly for a couple of weeks, and haven't had any 'skipped-stitch' issues with the it. There are a couple of minor general points which could benefit from a revamp: it doesn't have a yarn-tensioning mechanism, so I generally had one hand on the feed-yarn, to ensure that the yarn (and therefore the stitches) tension was even. And, the Addi Kingsize has 46 pins, whereas the cheaper one has 48 pins - whilst this doesn't sound like too much difference, actually, when you want to make man-sized hats, those extra 2 pins do make a better sized hat for a man. Which is why the Addi-Express Pro Kingsize gets 4 stars, rather than 5.

Love this machine. Perfect for anyone who loves to work on crafty projects but has less time/ patience! Great service from shop - item was well packaged and promptly delivered. Have knocked one star off as the machine is very squeaky which is bit annoying so I will need to open it up and grease it. Otherwise perfect.
