I do a lot of knitting but usually with yarn from the lower cost bracket and usually man made, so this was a treat for me to use a more expensive natural yarn and what a difference it made, I am hooked there was no splitting, no knots it was bliss, I knitted Rowans textured cardigan in felted tweed and could not put it down. I also have never blocked my knitting but felt that I had spent a lot of money so let’s do this properly, it made sewing up a breeze and the cardigan looks so Professional. I am working up to making another in a different colour. This yarn goes a long way I only used 8 balls.

Knits beautifully, i used it for fair isle pattern, although it sheds fibres a lot! Quite expensive hence only 4 stars.

I love the flecks of colour in this yarn, it makes it so beautiful! I've bought this yarn to make a fox bonnet, but also a jumper for my boyfriend. The colours are just wonderful! I love the blue flecks in the orange colourways.

Rowan's Felted Tweed is a beautiful blend of 50% merino wool, 25% alpaca and 25% viscose. The yarn has a beautiful tweed effect, perfect for fairisles, striping and other colour work and is the obvious choice for winter projects. The rustic colour palette makes this yarn a firm favourite, with shades ranging from cool, watery tones, to warming rage red and fiery ginger.
