Great Needles
These needles are really good. They are very slick and the tips have just the right degree of sharpness - not so sharp that they split the yarn but sharp enough to be able to dig into the stitches when doing some complicated manoeuvre.

I already had a set of plastic needles, but lacked this size. I love knitting with them and I even think I'll buy a whole set of metal tips when mine gets a little older ;)

I love these sliver tips, when I am doing fine work that requires a sharp tip to push through the stitch, ie blackberry stitch when I am knitting many times into the one stitch, the sharp point enables me to do this almost trouble free.
After months of research and agonising, I have joined the interchangeable needles fraternity by purchasing a set of KnitPro Nova (metal) knitting needles. The needles are very comfortable (standard length, not the new shorter ones), easily tighted onto the cable with the cable key, have lovely smooth joins and knit VERY fast! All my straight needles are now redundant as I will be buying a full set of KnitPros now that I have test-driven the 5.5mms on my exceedingly wide color-affection (with short-row shaping) shawl.
I was accumulating random circ needles of all diff sizes and then discovered these. Both wooden (symphonie) and metal tips (slightly cheaper) fit the same cable. Easy peasy with nice smooth joins and so far no probs with them coming unscrewed.
With the knitpro interchangeable knitting system I can carry all I need to knitting club,holidays, or know exactly where all my needles are, this is the most compact, complete system I have, and after using it for a couple of years I must say I have been delighted with it, it is easy to use easy to buy in what I actually need and very compact to store, And the only system that keeps my needles organised. I really can say It has changed my knitting.
These interchangable needles are the best. I love KnitPro needles. These are so smooth and light to work with. They help keep my hands cool. Even though they are very smooth my stitches do not fall off, I can still keep them under control.

The needles from Knit Pro's Nova Metal range are specially engineered from hollow brass pipes that make the needles light in weight making for hours of comfortable knitting. The lustrous silky surface enables your stitches to move along the needle without restriction.
The tips are between approx 11.5cm and 12.5cm long depending on size.
They are designed for use with all KnitPro cables, except for the 40cm cable as this is designed specifically for KnitPro short tips. While the 40cm cable will attach to these tips, it will limit the angle you will be able to get between the tips to around 60 degrees.
