Always used DPNs for sock knitting and spent ages retrieving stitches that had fallen off the ends of the non-working needles. Saw a blog suggesting using 25cm circular needles so bought one of these and it is SO much quicker just going round and round rather than faffing about with DPNs. I love Knit Pro Nova needles and have slowly been replacing all my needle stock with them. They are so smooth, the stitches move over them easily and the needle/cable junctions of the circular needles are smooth and don't snag the stitches. Wouldn't buy any other make now! And Woolstack's service is excellent.

Love the small circular needles for knitting socks. Used to get what looked like a run when I used dpn's. Very happy with these.
I hate knitting in the round on 3 or 4 needles - these shorter circular needles eliminate the gaps/holes that always seem to appear and the only holes I have in my socks are where they should be.. at the top. I couldn't make up my mind whether to use wood or metal - so brought this one so I could test drive them both. I actually like both the wood and metal!
