I was looking to buy a cotton crochet thread similar to one I’ve had for years and now used up. I took a chance on this one and on arrival - it’s exactly the same: ecru is a light cream colour. It has a lovely silky feel to the cotton yet strong fibres also, approx. 1mm thick. I’ve just used it to crochet a face flannel, it works up nicely and I know it will give years of good sturdy use. First rate.
