Was thrilled when I realised the same handle as in the Clover Soft Touch aluminium hooks was available with these smaller sizes of steel hooks. A particularly impressive feature is the little protective sleeve to place over the head & shaft that comes with each hook.

Clover really do make the nicest crochet hooks. I like both this version and the amour - with a slight preference for the amour purely because of the colour coding as I find both variants comfortable to work with. These steel hooks (indispensable at such small sizes) glide through work better than might be expected, and are surprisingly affordable.

A quality item, the hook is well formed and positively catches the thread. It is a bit sharp on the tail of the hook and can snag the thread if not engaged positively. I was using it for repairs to a leather sofa where the stitching had gone and was only able to repair from the good side. no chance of repair from the easy side without extensive stripping of the sofa. The first hook I bought was malformed and would not hold a thread at all past 35 degrees and just kept slipping off the hook and was useless, this was far superior and will hold a thread at a full 180 degrees.
Best hooks,Once you try clover, you will never use other hook. Service very fast!!

I have found them really easy to use and comfortable. Hope this will help my technique as a new convert to crochet after years of knitting, as I have found other hooks to be awkward.
I have bought this product because is cheaper than the clover amour steel crochet hook, but I have to said that being used to the regular clover amour you can tell the difference. It is not bad, but for me the clover mour is better.
Very good for people with arthritis or joint problems in there hands, takes all the pressure off, well recommended
