I have tried various brands over the years and these short needles are my favourite for socks until the toe. The point isn't so sharp it could pierce my fingers if I push on it, but it's still good for lace. The join and cable are great too. I only switch to a long circular or DPNs for toe decreases.

I bought these as I had heard great things about Chiaogoo, and they do not disappoint. I use them for socks, and the rounds go by much faster - though I still use DPNs for heels and toes. The join of cable and needle is smooth, and my yarn doesn't get caught there.
I've never used them but bought on recommendation from a Facebook group. I've always heard good things about them. Great service and speedy delivery.
