ChiaoGoo’s Forte carbon fibre interchangeable tips are designed for knitters who want a smooth, responsive needle with excellent balance and precision. The combination of lightweight carbon fibre and stainless steel tips creates a needle that feels steady in the hand, offers crisp stitch definition, and remains comfortable even during longer knitting sessions.
Interchangeable tips are attached by screwing them securely into a compatible cable (sold separately). The carefully engineered join creates a seamless transition between tip and cable, allowing stitches to move freely without catching or resistance.
Each Forte tip is constructed with a carbon fibre shaft and surgical stainless steel tips and connectors, delivering strength, durability, and a refined knitting feel. The metal components are permanently fixed for stability and a smooth finish, while the needle size is clearly laser marked on every tip for easy reference.
ChiaoGoo tips and cables are fully compatible across all ChiaoGoo interchangeable ranges.
Choice of Length These tips come in two lengths. Choose from:
4" - good for sleeves, hats and children's jumpers Available in sizes 2.75mm to 10mm.
5" - a popular size for day-to-day use and medium / large projects such as jumpers. Available in sizes 2.75mm to 10mm
The size of needle determines the size of the connector (which affects the type of cable you will need)
Small Connector - for sizes 2.75mm - 5mm (2 US - 8 US)
