Got the 2.25mm for socks. Tips seem to be hardwearing (unlike aluminium Zings which get worn down over time), though the metal is softer than stainless steel and I accidentally bent mine. Nice smooth join and rounded tip, great for doing stockinette fast without splitting the yarn. Nice weight to the needles too.
Just transferred my knitting on to this and am loving it. It is so lovely and compact I will be discretely knitting on the plane on the way to Spain later this year and the flight will pass in no time!

Just what I needed for sock knitting and they do the job great! Truly not a fan of DPNs or magic loop!
Tried using double ended needles to knit socks in 4 ply and ended up with "ladders". Couldn't get on with friend's magic loop, but this needle worked a treat. Using 60 sts would be the minimum number I'd use it for.
As always knit pro deliver a great product. Does exactly what it's meant to. These are my go to fixed circular needles
