Great, but with limitations
I prefer knitting socks with dpn’s, as I don’t like using magic loop method with circular needles on something as small as socks.
I took some time getting used to these little needles. I found the easiest method was to use Continental knitting for knit rows. Any purl rows (as I had in my pattern) were done using the Peruvian method of knitting. This worked quite well. Ordinary throwing method was used for rib stitch. Alternating between various methods reduced stiffness if my arthritic joints.
I got on well once i’d Worked out my strategy and really like them.
There is a downside- I did resort to using dpns to shape the toes, as I couldn’t manage the small number of stitches. Various tutorials suggest something similar to magic loop, but the cord is so tiny I couldn’t manage it.
Otherwise, great. And they’re super fast!
