    malabrigo sock yarn

Many sock yarns, as well as being labelled 'superwash', also contain a proportion of nylon for harder wear, whereas Malabrigo sock is 100% merino, and as a result it is beautifully soft. I do not knit socks so am unable to vouch for its foot-wearability, but for shawls it is near perfect . Also, I love the colours as they are very subtle and wearable.

    Very very soft

I just love Malabrigo, the colour is just fantastic, it must be the way they kettle dye the yarn. I just cannot wait to use this.

Description

A soft, smoothly-plied, lightweight sock yarn spun from luxurious merino and treated to make it machine washable for easy care. Don't be fooled by the name - while it's certainly a treat for the feet, this delightful yarn is also a particular favourite for shawls and scarves!

Great for: lace, shawls, scarves, garments, baby and child items, gloves and of course socks!
