I`m always trying to find new items to knit, and they are the best. I´ve bought all the sizes, and I`m delighted .

Wouldn't change these for anything. Best hooks I've ever used and they fit perfectly to my hand. I'm a knife-grip crocheter.

After receiving my order I was pleasantly surprised how comfortably the handle of the hook was taking position in my hand. Absolutely effortlessly, however, not necessarily conveniently. It seemed way too big for me to use. As I'm an experienced 'crocheter' and have my own established style of holding the hook, I was not able to use this brand effectively, hence the score.

These hooks are amazing. Once I got over the fact they looked like a toothbrush, I couldn't believe how lovely these are to use.
Since my last stroke, I only have partial use of my hand and thus very poor grip. I was unable to crochet at all. After buying the Addi Swing hooks (3.5 & 5.0mm), I've been able to take it up again. They are perfectly ergonomically designed to sit in your hand, shaped to your palm, and uses the action of moving the hook in and out of the yarn to hold in place firmly. It is so comfortable to use that I once sat for 5 hours and made a beanie hat in one session. No blisters, cramping or pain to make me stop after half an hour or slow me down (although I'm the first to admit I'm not exactly the Mo Farrah of the crochet world!).
I've just bought my mother the 4.0, 4.5 & 5.0mm hooks to stop her from stealing mine, even though she has no problems with her hands. They really are that good.
Truly the Rolls Royce of hooks, and well worth the money. Topped off by the excellent service from the Woolstack staff, I can't recommend it highly enough.

I love these hooks, I find them very comfortable and the extra length means it is not poking you somewhere in your hand. I know many people hold them as a pencil, but I've gotten used to the 'knife-grip' and I didn't even consider holding them as a pencil.
Only disadvantages: they won't fit a standard case (so make yourself a new one!) and they will break if you stand to often on them (but they held the first time, I'm just very clumsy to do it more than once).

I was always reluctant to crochet as never found the hooks easy to hold. Gave one of these a try and my whole crochet experience has changed for the better. Can't recommend them highly enough.
